I know that people cannot buy what they do not know about. But, life is not about me. It is about bringing glory to the God I serve. I am to know my place, to realize I understand so little. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Eph 4:2, NIV
Because of this attitude I find merchandizing myself very difficult. Pushing myself forward is at odds with the teachings of Jesus: when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Luke 14:10, NIV
All my adult life I have tried to love people and do my best for them. My writing is part of that best effort.
I want to be known as a kind, gentle, loving Christian gentleman.
“Now that we realize that these are not logical arguments, how do we deal with them? First, allow yourself to feel the picture at an emotional level.
Move from left brain to right brain. Instead of trying to follow every point of an argument, allow yourself to be involved in the pictures. Immerse yourself in them. Wallow around in them. Let them saturate your being. Delight in them. Let them wash over your soul and spirit. Let them do for you what the writer was allowing them to do for him. Let God touch you with them.”
